An Interview with author Dorothy LeCours

Q: When did you start writing, and what inspired you to write?

A: I have always loved to write since my dad bought me my first diary. I always wanted to write a children’s book. The magic of the Law of Attraction inspired me to share this vital concept to children.

Q: How long did the book take you from start to finish?

A: 3 Years

Q: Where do you write?

A: In my sitting room I am always inspired to write by all the beauty that my skylight provides.

Q: What's the best thing about being a published author?

A: The best part of being a published author is accomplishing my DHARMA.

Q: Who are some of your favorite authors?

A: Michael Losier
     Deepak Chopra
     Michael Bernard Beckwith
     Jack Canfield

Q: Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

A: Many of my grown up first graders have purchased my book for their young children. The feedback they have given to me is AWESOME!!

Q: What are your current projects?

A: Mastering Marketing Strategies, Social Networking, and Writing Book 2 for THE STAR POWERED TWINS.

Q: What do you like to do when you're not writing?

A: Reading has always been a passion of mine. I love disappearing in a great book.

Q: How did you come up with your title?

A: I wanted to reach the audience of both boys and girls so I decided to write about twins. The self-esteem program I designed while I was teaching was titled STAR POWER. The topic of the book is Law of Attraction. The SECRET is the WORDS we choose to use.

Q: Is there a message in your book that you want readers to grasp?

A: The words you send out are the feelings and dreams that come back to you. Eliminate the words: no, don’t, can’t from your child’s vocabulary. Empower your child to use the words I AM to develop positive feelings, thoughts, and actions of gratitude.

The Law of Attraction develops the power of positive words, thoughts, and actions to attract expanded goodness into our lives. Focusing on being healthy, abundant, happy, and a state of gratitude will create a very positive reality for your child.

Q: What’s the hardest part of writing a book?

A: To include all Law of Attraction strategies in a narrative storyline that would engage and excite young readers.

Q: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

A: I am really pleased with everything about by book. I wouldn’t change a thing.
